Velvet French Bulldogs are the pinochle of the popular French Bulldog breed. They are named for their remarkably soft, velvety coat that distinguishes them from other French Bulldogs. Their origin, characteristics, and why they’ve captured the attention of many will be detailed below.

We are breeders of the “Horse coat“, the true Velvet, is very short and feels prickly when brushed against the direction of the fur but silky when pet forward.

“Brush Coat“, not a true velvet, is soft like silk, thin with a little more length on the back but almost bald on the face and feet.
