The term “fluffy French Bulldogs” refers to a specific variation of the French Bulldog breed known for its longer, soft coat. Unlike the typical short-haired French Bulldog, the fluffy version has a rare gene that gives it a distinctive longer coat… two most commonly known variants of long hair gene are (L1 & L4). Some people argue that L1 is better than L4 And vice versa; however over the years we have bred both variants of the (L) gene and can honestly say they are just as good as each othe.
The term “BIG ROPE” refers to the skin food above the nose. This has been a massive trend in the English bulldog and the sharpee breeds for many years. However it has only been introduced to the french bulldog in the last 6/7 years and only been made popular for the last 12-18 months. Some people will say that the “Rope” comes with a lot of problems… remember this is an opinion and not a fact! From our experience this is not the case and aslong as the fold doesn’t interfere with the nasal passage breathing is just as good as the standard frenchys.
